What is PetScreening?

PetScreening is a free, simple and secure way to manage pet and animal information for ALL your new applicants and renewing residents.


How does it work?

1. While registering, please select a subdomain. For example, if your company name is Test Apartment, we suggest entering "testapartment" to reserve testapartment.petscreening.com as your custom URL.

2. After registering, login and customize your Landing Page where you will see your custom PetScreening URL and can set up your pet policy landing page for ALL your applicants and residents. This includes applicants and residents with No Pets, Household Pets, and Assistance Animals.

3. Provide your customized URL to ALL new applicants or renewing residents. They will select the appropriate option that suits their specific No Pet, Pet, or Assistance Animal status.

4. PetScreening will process each submission and, if necessary, help validate the reasonable accommodation request per the FHAct guidelines.

5. Upon final processing of the No Pet, Pet, or Assistance Animal profile, you will receive an email notification and a comprehensive digital profile with pertinent information such as affidavit answers, pet/animal type, name, sex, weight, photos, vaccination details, breed, assistance animal details and documentation (if an accommodation request) and more. Every profile includes an attestation that the information submitted is true and accurate for your records.
